Our mission is to help individuals and organisations create safe spaces, where everyone is free to be their authentic self and are valued for being just that. We help create cultures where individuals and the bottom line can thrive.
Intentional Inclusion.
We believe that the key to diversity and inclusion work is identifying and removing the barriers that keep people out of a space or stop them feeling safe in that space. We can create barriers with the language we use, or the culture we create, or through physical obstacles. Everything we do at The Diversity Doctor is aimed at helping you become intentionally inclusive, so you start to see these barriers for yourself and you have the knowledge and tools to remove them.
Hi, I’m Dr Donna de Haan.
My pronouns are she / her and I'm the founding director of The Diversity Doctor. I have almost 20 years experience as a researcher, academic and consultant. I’m passionate about everything to do with diversity and inclusion, and I’m incredibly grateful that I get to turn that passion and interest into impact.
As a qualitative researcher I know I cannot walk in anyone else’s shoes, but I can listen to their experience and I can believe and respect their story.
With that in mind, please give me this opportunity to share a little more of my story.
